General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at
a central conference on talent-related work that we must focus on the forefront
of global science and technology, the economy, the major demands of the country
and people’s health, and stress efforts to implement the strategy on developing
a quality workforce in the new era and to accelerate the work to build China
into a major world center of professional talent and innovation. The 2021
“Career in Shanghai” Sino-Australian Innovation and Professional Development
Forum and Sino-European Innovation and Professional Development Forum will kick
off on October 23, to give full play to the role of Shanghai as a center of the
domestic economic cycle and a strategic link in the “dual circulation”
development pattern, and attract a wide range of outstanding talents.
活动目的Objectives
为持续推进上海对外开放并增进上海与欧洲、澳洲的合作，开启创新事业和人才通道，让海内外专家和各类人才充分展示对技术发展的看法和趋势预测，在职业发展方面共享成功经验，通过“论坛+人才招引”模式，集聚吸引海外高层次人才和项目，畅通上海与海外的人才输送渠道，形成国际国内人才紧密联系与互动，构建视野更加开阔的全球觅才网络。
Forums and talent recruitment are combined
in order to further open up Shanghai, promote its cooperation with Europe and
Australia, and increase innovative career opportunities and talent channels, so
that experts and various talents at home and abroad may fully exchange their
views and forecast on technological development as well as successful experience
in career development. The event is designed to attract high-level talents and
projects from overseas, diversify channels for talent exchange between Shanghai
and cities in other countries, increase connection and interaction between
talents at home and abroad, and build a global network for talent hunting based
on a broader vision.
论坛介绍Overview
“到上海去”引智引才品牌自2018以“创新与职业发展论坛”的形式在欧洲举办开始，已持续开展了三届，由上海国际人才交流协会驻澳大利亚联络处和上海国际人才交流协会驻德国联络处主办，在海外人才中产生热烈反响，品牌效应逐步显现。
The "Career in Shanghai" a brand
for attracting talents has been continuously carried out for three years since
it was held in Europe in the form of "Innovation and career Development
Forum" in 2018. Sponsored by the Australian Liaison Office of Shanghai
International Talent Exchange Association and the German Liaison Office of
Shanghai International Talent Exchange Association, it has produced warm
repercussions among overseas talents, and the brand effect has gradually
emerged.
在全球疫情持续影响下，2021年“到上海去”创新与职业发展论坛以线上+线下相结合的模式开展，分为论坛和活动两部分。第一部分为论坛部分（论坛+人才政策宣讲+项目路演）。第二部分为活动部分（人才洽谈活动+项目洽谈）。以“人才汇聚、国际合作、协同创新”为核心，通过论坛活动展现、宣传本市引才需求和外专政策。
Due to the continuing influence of the
pandemic, the “Career in Shanghai” innovation and professional development
forums in 2021 will be launched both online and offline in the form of forums
and other activities. The forums also include introduction to talent policies
and project roadshows. Other activities consist of presentations on
opportunities for career and project cooperation. With the purpose of
attracting talents and promoting international cooperation and collaborative
innovation, Shanghai will shed light on its demand for talents and policies for
foreign experts through the forums and other activities.

论坛地址：上海设有主会场，同时在澳大利亚新南威尔士州（悉尼、阿米代尔）、布里斯班、霍巴特、新西兰奥克兰、德国卡尔斯鲁厄、汉诺威、荷兰阿姆斯特丹、瑞士苏黎世等地设有线下分会场，各会场情况将同时在线直播。
Address: In addition to a main venue in
Shanghai, there will be offline branch venues in New South Wales (Sydney and
Armidale), Brisbane and Hobart in Australia, Auckland in New Zealand, Karlsruhe
and Hanover in Germany, Amsterdam in Netherlands, and Zurich in Switzerland.
All venues will be broadcast live online.
